Okay, here are my top games of the week in Section 1.

1. Mt Vernon @ White Plains - Wednesday, January 9th, 4:15pm.

Classic battle between long-time division rivals. Also featuring 2 of the best players in section 1 face up against another 2 of the best (Sherrod Wright and Kevin Jones for Mt Vernon and Rashad James and Sean Kilpatrick for White Plains). Its hard to imagine anybody from the section winning at Mt Vernon or even on a neutral court, but given the packed house that White Plains is sure to supply, the playing field is much more even in this one.

2. Spring Vally @ Portchester - Wednesday, January 9th, 4:30pm.

If you cannot make it to White Plains, this should be another good game between two smaller-class powerhouses.

3. White Plains @ Scarsdale - Friday, January 11th, 4:15pm.

Scarsdale, barring a loss to Mamaroneck on Wednesday, will be looking to expand to their undefeated season against a very talented White Plains team looking to knock them off.
